This is real. @rollingshutterdisplays is a beautiful and crazy project carried out by @faqder and @rociovonr. It’s based on exploiting and controlling to its limit the curious error that occurs when you place a digital camera with this particular image scanning method very close to an LED with controlled on and off frequencies.

The RSD Controller was born in collaboration with them, one of the most special projects that emerged from our Custom line. You can place any smart phone with its camera over the LED window and with the buttons and knobs you can navigate through different modes and parameters of the scan, seeing as a result the strange phenomenon on the screen.
