HERNAN ORDIALES – API-cultor
APICULTOR it’s a custom controller we’ve made with our friend @hernanord, and it’s part of his amazing cloud-based digital/analog synth.
With the system he made, Hernan can search for free sounds on the internet based on parameters defined on the controller. Then, he can edit these sounds digitally and finally add them some analog magic by processing them in the modular rack. This system is based on custom Supercollider software running on a Raspberry Pi inside the RACK Brute 3u with some Roland modules and his custom MIDI controller connected. The whole project is opensource (GPL licence) and available at sonidosmutantes Github repo.
We are proud to be part of this creation, such an original way to put new and classic technologies to interact.
